Fee Schedule
All counselling and psychotherapy sessions are charged at the hourly rate of $190 per hour plus HST, totalling $214.70 (per hour).
Individual session in person are available for 60, 90, and 120 minute sessions.
Marriage and couples counselling begin at a minimum of a 2 hour session
Please note all prices are plus HST unless otherwise indicated.
Reports & Letter Writing
Document review is $95.00 + HST per half hour.
Reports, Forms and Letters begins at $190 + HST and is charged additionally per hour accordingly.
Payment
Payment is due after each session via Cash, E-Transfer, Debit, Visa or MasterCard.
Cancellation policy is 2 business days. Appointments cancelled less than a 2 day/48 hour notice or missed appointments are charged the full session fee. Same day bookings which are subsequently cancelled are subject to the usual late cancellation fees.
Currently in Ontario Counselling, or Life Coaches are not covered by OHIP and are required to charge HST on services rendered. Psychological services are HST exempt.
Financial Help
Extended Health
If you have extended health benefits through your work, or through an immediate family member’s employer, you may be covered for the services.
Reduced-Cost Counselling and Other Funding Options
At this time I am unable to offer reduced or probono services.
Other options may include third party funding such as loans, credit cards, line of credit, family or institutional assistance which can help you move forward to getting the help you need.
In accordance with the Medical Expense Tax Credit (METC), the Government of Canada will reimburse recipients of clinical services that have expenses greater than $2,100 annually or 3 percent of the taxpayer’s net income (check to verify current tax information – 2017). If you are a business owner you may be able to set up and use a HSA (Health Spending Account) to cover your counselling services. Please check with your accountant to confirm.
